How To Open A Perfume Bottle The Right Way?
When you buy a perfume bottle, it may come across as relatively easy and straightforward to open at first. And in most cases, it may be so. However, it is always better to be safe rather than sorry.
All perfumes are sealed. Some are closed with a metal or a plastic layer of coating with a stylish designer nozzle. This feature adds a look to the perfume bottle.
Here, we will tell you how to open two types of perfume bottles.
- Metal Sealed Perfume Bottles
- Plastic Sealed Perfume Bottles
Metal Sealed Perfumes
Opening perfume bottles that have a plastic seal requires a tad bit of effort. Keep a toolset of pliers, nippers, and a couple of tissues.
In the first step, take the tap off carefully and then remove the sprayer. The nozzle or the sprayer will now be exposed. Do this step with the pliers. Be careful while you use the pliers. They come across as quite efficient and easy to use. It will ensure the job is done efficiently. All you have to do is pull with the pliers back and forth.
At the end of this step, the nozzle or the sprayer will be completely visible.
Then, the next step is removing the base of the sprayer. This part is a little complicated. Pay a little attention to this part of the process. Now the nipper and plier will come to use. The sprayer base is sealed under high temperatures to ensure that there is no leakage of the perfume. Try and loosen up the bottom using the pliers and nippers. It could take a couple of minutes to loosen up, but be patient.
It is imperative that you are beyond gentle in this procedure, as if you handle the bottle roughly, it may break. So do not hold the bottle with the pliers and the nipper tighter than you should.
In the last step, use a tissue and wipe the bottle. In case any fine particles of glass have come to lose, they will be wiped off with the tissue. Wipe the bottle clean around the neck and the body of the bottle.
Your metal-sealed perfume bottle is now open! Most branded perfumes have a metal seal. Thus, it is essential to know how to open them. Once you are acquainted with opening the metal-sealed scents, you can open the rest with great ease!
Plastic Sealed Perfumes
Opening plastic-sealed perfumes are pretty similar to opening metal-sealed perfumes. But opening plastic-sealed perfume bottles are relatively more comfortable when compared to metal-sealed perfumes.
The first step of opening them is to remove the sprayer right after you open the cap.
So take off the cap and remove the sprayer. After this, you will see the plastic sealing that lies right on top of the bottle’s neck.
Then, pull off the string that is attached underneath. In this step, you will need a pair of scissors. You can cut the string loose using scissors. It usually depends on how thick the string is and depending on that you can tell how much time it will take for the string to come off. Be patient and remove this string with maximum gentleness and ease.
Also, make sure you have a good grip on the bottle, but at the same time, you don’t hold the bottle too tightly. Once the string is loose, gently pull it out.
Use a tissue to wipe the bottle clean just in case there is any leakage and just to be neat and on the safe side.
This is your last step, and you are done. You have successfully learned to open a plastic-sealed perfume bottle. Say bye-bye to breakage and spillage.
